I am running into significant sync issues with this program. Not all of my messages that I recieve on my phone actually arrive on my computer. Also, when first opening the program after not having it on in a while, often it will not sync messages from the time that it was off. Occasionally, messages will not send through this program. I contacted support a while ago and received an automated reply and nothing else. Also, even though the description mentions the customization of messages (including backgrounds and colors), this is not listed as an option anywhere within the program.

Frustrating. You type your text and about 10-15 seconds later, it does a “waiting” type color wheel spin for 10 seconds and you have to wait for it to finish, and then it erases your text so you have to start over again. This is the same issue now for several versions that make it completely unusable.

All of the messages I receive have additional text appended to the end of them to the effect of ------=_Part_295544371_203333613.1452708442493. Probably not critical for the function of the app, but very annoying to look at.

Months to wait for a fix and nothing changed. The app constantly “refreshes” as others have mentioned (an El Capitan thing?) and erases the text of the message while writing. It has become unusable for me. I’m done and have switched to AirDroid.

all messages have garbage tacked on to the end like: ———=_Part_50009347_110210300.1452886813712 Select a phone number from contact list and the program addresses the message with the email or office number…something other than the mobile number I selected. Not sure why a multi-billion dollar corporation can’t write a decent software application. The concept is good though, I like being able to message from my Mac.

I think the newer version even got more worse

Love this app, but it has a bug that keeps getting worse to the point where the app is almost becoming unusable. The app will often erase what you are typing as you are typing it, thus forcing you to rewrite the entire thing. Not even “Undo” will bring back your lost message. Very annoying! Other than that I love this app, so I hope Verizon fixes it soon.

Hello so far so good, im able to text with this app, is there a way to make phone calls ?

Sending/receiving messages to a single user (i.e. SMS) works fine. However, when sending messages to multiple recipients (i.e. MMS) the messages are received by all recipients, but the message body is empty. Does anyone even test this? Why would Apple allow it to be on the App Store!?

I am unable to type a message on the app as the text deletes itself every 10 seconds. If I do get to type the entire message, the device isn’t syncing sent messages with my phone. This used to be a great app.

I love this app when it works correctly. But since the last update on my Mac, the app force closes all the time. I’ve done a clean reinstall, but it does the following: The app opens, and I see a list of messages, then it immediately closes itself. So frustrating, because I enjoy being able to respond to my Verizon messages from my Mac desktop. Please fix this!!!

running this program on a Macbook pro (A1286) with El Capitan with no problems at all. I really enjoy this program!

I have been looking for a way to connect my samsung phone to my macbook for messaging, so I thought this app from verizon to sync messages between my sumsung phone and macbook bro would be awesome! It is the app I’ve always wanted to make sure I can keep up with messages. BUT IT DOESNT WORK! You can send messages all you want but you can NOT recieve them. What is the point of a messaging app if you dont recieve the messages from the person you are trying to contact? I really hope verizon has a support team to work on this especially since verizon comes at a premium price. so bottom line……this app doesnt work! it is a great concept and would be awesome to use again if it even worked. so DONT GET THIS APP until it has been proven to work.

Took a few tries to get the app to just text me a security code. Doesn’t bode well. Nice tiny, unresizable Contacts window. Glad I can resize columns in that tiny, unresizable space. Too bad those columns don’t stick. Double-clicking a contact loads the number into the message—excellent! Too bad the app thinks it’s not valid, and makes you retype it. To be fair, it has, in fact, sent and received texts. It has not crashed. Okay, it’s a start. Oh, thanks for the suggestion to turn off iMessage. Probably not going to happen.

When I begin typing a message, sometimes the textbox just clears out and deletes everything I had just typed. This has happened with the most recent update. The app worked quite well before this. Will update rating if this bug is fixed.

I am running into an issue when I am typing out a text, the box just clears it self and I have to start over. Occasionally I hit the send button and it just doesn’t send or show up that it was even typed. This issue needs to be fixed.

This is a great idea, but it doesn’t work - I don’t receive any of my messages on it - and there’s no support available to troubleshoot.

Like lots of other reviewers have said, it does take a long time to sync. But my biggest issue is that it erases what I’ve typed fairly regularly. I’ll be in the middle of a message, maybe 20-30 characters in, and it just disappears. I’ve gotten really good at typing really quickly and pressing ‘Enter’ as soon as I’ve gotten my message on the screen… so there’s that. I love that I can answer texts without swapping devices. The iPad app seems to work a little better.. And it has predictive emojis, which is great.

Like many others here, I am experiencing the bug where after 20-30 words into a message it completely erases whatever was in the text box. This has been occurring for many versions now and it makes the program useless for sending messages. The best you can do is type out a 5-10 word message and hit enter really quickly, otherwise you’ll lose everything. It’d be a great app if it werent for this issue. It has persisted over numerous updates, so either Verizon isn’t paying attention or they simply refuse to fix it.
